Richard Butterworth is the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Ventum Financial Corp. and is responsible for oversight of the financial accounting and securities operations. Mr. Butterworth, a Chartered Professional Accountant, has over 25 years’ executive experience and 12 years’ experience in the financial services industry, including banking and securities.

He has successfully completed both the Partners, Directors and Senior Officers course and the Chief Financial Officers qualifying examination with the Canadian Securities Institute. In addition, he has completed the Series 27 – Financial and Operations Principal examination (FINRA).

Mr. Butterworth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honours in Accounting and Finance degree and obtained the designation of Chartered Accountant designation (London, England) in 1989. He is also a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants in Canada.
