Ventum Financial Corp. is an independent, full-service investment dealer with offices across Canada. We are looking for an energetic individual with strong organizational skills to join our self-clearing Operations team. Reporting to the Senior VP of Operations, the Account Transfer Administrator will be primarily responsible for assisting the Transfers team in their day-to-day management of incoming and outgoing account transfers, and administrative duties as required. The role requires a dynamic, detail-oriented individual who is willing to learn and grow within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing transfer requests within the regulatory timelines.
- Review account transfer documentation for accuracy and completeness to ensure documents are in good order to expedite transfer.
- Monitor and troubleshoot transfers issues as they arise to ensure timely completion of transfer within regulatory and industry-acceptable timelines.
- Cross-train on other functions within the department.
- General administrative duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a Transfers or Client Services department within an investment firm preferred.
- Experience with Broadridge’s Dataphile and ATON system is an asset.
- Ability to prioritize and handle a variety of tasks concurrently to meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
